Mr. Pringles Gets A Makeover

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – The mustachioed man who appears on cans of Pringles potato chips is getting a make-over – and it’s getting a thumbs up from fashion experts. Later today (Jun. 5), the new face of “Mr. Pringles” will be unveiled on a billboard in Times Square in New York, and E! fashion critic and Joan Rivers’ sidekick Leon Hall will be on hand to comment on the little man’s updated look. The redone Mr. Pringles still looks like a barbershop quartet singer, but now has light brown highlights in his hair and a bushy mustache that can only be described as a “flavor saver.” Hall is giving a thumbs up to the makeover, saying the look is quite hip, young and fresh-looking and shows off Mr. P.’s “personality and joie de vivre.” He also gives props to the icon’s new red bow tie, noting “...red is hot this season and Mr. P pulls it off beautifully.” The new Mr. Pringles will start popping up on cans this week.
