Zoinks! Kids, Don’t Eat Scooby Snacks!

PITTSBURGH (Wireless Flash) – Remember “Scooby Snacks?” They were Shaggy and Scooby-Doo’s favorite treat to eat when they got gripped by the munchies. Well, now the folks who make Snausages dog treats are releasing a line of “Scooby Snacks” meant to tie in with the live-action Scooby- Doo film hitting theaters June 14. Although Shaggy often chows down with Scoob on the TV show, humans should think twice before eating these snacks with their pooches. Folks who’ve sampled the goodies say they taste more like crunchy, dry Milkbone biscuits than cookies. The product’s box doesn’t mention they aren’t for kids, so a company spokeswoman hopes wannabe Shaggys have better sense than to eat the treats.
