VALENTINE'S DAY TREATS: A RECIPE FOR MIGRAINES?

BRANCHBURG, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- For some folks, Valentine's Day indulgences can mean disaster, not love. That's according to New Jersey-based migraine headache expert Dr. Donnica Moore, who says Cupid Day staples like red wine, dark chocolate and flickering candles can trigger migraines if you're susceptible. Unless you want to end a romantic evening with the words "Not tonight, honey, I have a headache," you might want make some substitutions in your plans. For starters, instead of toasting your lover with red wine, salute him or her with champagne, which Dr. Moore says won't trigger a migraine. Also, selecting white chocolate over dark will satisfy your sweet tooth without causing a headache. Finally, candles may be romantic, but the flickering can bring on a migraine. Instead, use soft-colored lightbulbs.
