South Dakota Man Owns Haunted Babe Ruth Baseball Cards
RAPID CITY, S.D. (Wireless Flash) It sounds spooky but a man in Rapid City, South Dakota, keeps haunted baseball cards in his den. Baseball memorabilia collector Ben Blake owns a set of Babe Ruth baseball cards made in 1928 that are worth about $300 total. He claims the cards are truly unique because theyre haunted. In fact, on one card, Ruths eyes actually follow people around the room. Even stranger, Blake keeps an autographed baseball of the 1958 Yankees in a glass box with Mickey Mantles signature front and center and he claims one of his Ruth cards turned the ball around when he wasnt looking. Although Blake says his cat attacks him when he holds the baseball cards and his wife and kids refuse to go in the den, thats not necessarily a bad thing since that means no one bothers him when hes watching TV.
