Woman Turns BBQ Scraper Into Self-Defense Device
SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) – If a woman in San Diego is correct, your best weapon against a terrorist is a barbecue scraper. Pat Robertson has just invented the “911Jack,” a self-defense device that looks like a plastic version of brass knuckles with the wire bristles of a barbecue scraper. If you’re attacked, you’re supposed to swipe the goon with the 911Jack, hurting the attacker and leaving distinguishing scrape marks police can use to catch the thug. The barbed wire brush also collects DNA that can be used to ID the robber, and Robertson figures criminals will be “scarred straight” when they learn about her skin-puncturing DNA collector. However, she admits no one she knows has had to use the 911Jack yet, and she says she almost hopes someone attacks her “...just to get it in use.”
