This is just a little page to remember my pet rats by. 8Ball died unexpectedly in 1999. Retard had been sick for a while and underwent surgery to remove a suspiscious looking tumour. While under anaesthetic she DIED! OMG! Turns out that the tumour was malignent anyway, so I'm glad she died while asleep rather than later on down the track, slowly and painfully. She died on Monday 6 September 1999. RIP Retard! Alas, Ryan and I lost another one of our little friends. Her name was Pinky, I found her cold and so lonely looking in the corner of her cage mid-2001. It's a good thing Noodle, her sister, doesn't need to see a psychiatrist after having to play around her dead body all day until I got home from TAFE! Poor little Pinky. And our Cinammon Agouti rat Adrian was given to our buddy Tanya because we bought a cat, but alas Adrian died in November 2003. I have dedicated Retard's Eulogy to Pinky also... she died on Tuesday 29 May 2001. RIP Pinky! Noodle died on Xmas day, 2001. Is that poetic or what?
Eulogy
8Ball, Retard, Pinky, Noodle and Adrian were cute little rats. Never harmed anyone, always eager to run up your arm and nestle upon your shoulder. Chewing away on bits of food, looking up at you with there bright, black eyes, you just couldn't resist picking them up. Always sniffing the air hoping for a waft of bong smoke and loved to get blown out, we all loved them. We hope they are happy and reunited with each other in rat paradise, playing and fighting and having fun.
