We would like to cite Leonardo DiCaprio and Mel Gibson as inspirations to us, with their hilarious performances as Romeo and Hamlet, respectively.

The Compleat Works

Spent Shabbos sleeping and reading. I'll save the reading report for tomorrow's entry.

Saturday night, I finally saw the local campus production of The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged). It was great, great, great. My sole regret is that I first saw it on closing night, so I wasn't able to see it a second time. 'Twas well worth the four bucks and two hours. I laughed my head off, and left in a much better mood than I'd arrived in.

I ought to be more specific, but I'd only ruin most of the punchlines, I fear. Anyway, I'm not sure how much of what I saw was in the original script, and how much was unique to this production -- I'm pretty sure the passing reference to Ken Starr was their own -- but if you get a chance to see this play, don't walk; run.
