Well, it's better than nothing. Maybe.

Return to Kew Gardens Hills

Today's reading was The Poisonwood Bible, by Barbara Kingsolver. I'll have more to say about this in a later entry, I think.

Otherwise... nightfall came, I checked my e-mail (a nearly overwhelming task after being away for three days, but I hit the important-looking stuff first, and left the rest for later), then packed all my books up, and grabbed a bus back to Home Sweet Home, which is to say my apartment. As expected, I forgot a couple of things; in this case, my pajamas (which I'd at least remembered to bring in the first place, for once), and one library book (From Beginning to End, by Robert Fulghum), which my sister had been reading.

Given that I have six entries to go until I'm caught up, this'll have to do. More to follow on Sunday, I hope...

On second thought, lemme throw in another "Bouts Rimes" entry. Hmmm... Okay, let's pick on Dickenson.

The Soul selects her own Society--
And She won't have a thing to do with Me.

Much Madness is divinest Sense
But who can tell the difference?

Because I could not stop for Death--
I ran until I lost my breath.
