Why can't a woman be more like a man? --Henry Higgins |
Monday, December 6, 1999 Working... I've gotta make this one fast. My Women's Studies term paper is due on Wednesday, and I'm now in the "vacuum down all the information I can get my hands on" stage. This has been facilitated by Professor J's letting me use his card at the campus library, so I could take out a few relevant volumes, my card having been stolen the other week, and having some fines on it in the bargain. I restrained myself, taking out only twelve books, which was all I'd had room left for in my backpack, anyway. I might end up going back for reinforcements tomorrow, but this may well be enough to hold me.
Almost nobody got back to me on the non-denominational personalized poem idea I was mulling over yesterday. I'm not sure whether this indicates a profound lack of interest from my readership, or whether everybody else is busy, too, or whether it's simply that most of my readers aren't interested in sending me any more e-mail until I reply to the messages they've already sent. (And you thought you were the only one I hadn't gotten back to? I wish.) I think I'm gonna wait until after finals anyway, if I do end up doing this. In the meantime, the question remains open. Any interest?
