Surveys

Every now and then, a survey makes its way through the online journal community. And every now and then, I answer such surveys. In one case, I even went as far as to create my own, for others to answer.

The following entries contain my survey responses:

January 17, 1999

My very first entry. This is the longest of the bunch, and it contains a wealth of random facts about Yours Truly, many of which are still accurate. Although I've bought a second pillow since then.

November 6, 1999

My answers to Al Schroeder's survey. It didn't take long for Action to be cancelled after this. My liking a new show seems to be a guarantee that it's going to flop. (Angel excepted, but, as a spin-off, I don't think it counts.)

November 18, 1999

My answers to Lucy and Rick's survey. This is where I admitted to never having seen a film with Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn. I've since remedied this fault, having been informed in no uncertain terms that I was missing out. I love my readers.

March 6, 2000

My answers to my own survey. You'd think this would have been easy, and for the most part it was, but there was one question even I found murder to answer. The results are a bit fascinating, in much the same way as a train wreck.

Stuff

More bits and pieces of my life:

February 20, 1999
February 21, 1999
February 27, 1999

In these three entries, I list all of the books on my reference shelf. It's fairly out of date by now, but may retain some interest.

July 5, 1999

The end of this entry links to a kinda large sound file of myself kazooing "When the Saints Go Marching In." With harmony, even. It'll bring tears to your eyes... and agony to your ears.

August 12, 1999

Features a few photos of my room, and one of Yours Truly. The thumbnails are pretty distorted, so do click on them to get the full-sized pictures.

November 7, 1999

Features a list of CDs I ordered from Columbia House. As it happens, they never got back to me, which wasn't entirely surprising. I ended up getting about half the list from BMG Music Service instead.

March 18, 2000

If the kazoo playing above wasn't enough to drive you away, my renditions of various folk songs transposed into minor keys will. I don't know if anybody has actually listened to all the files in this entry.

Stuff Elsewhere

My other home page

This is the home page my family and Real Life acquaintances know about. It's extremely out of date, as I've been more interested in maintaining this site than that one. But it does contain a bunch of poems I wrote back when I was in high school.

My wish list at Amazon.Com

This is linked to here for your voyeuristic pleasure, rather than for you to buy me stuff. (Not that I'd object, but that's not the point.) I use my wish list in place of the "shopping cart" feature. If I see something I'd like to buy myself down the line, I put it on the list. It's my personal bookmark list of cool stuff to buy once I win the lottery.
