This is a very small archive because it's more of a rare books collection than a bestseller stand. Still, there will be gems in this bunch... see what's beyond the land of Mink and co.
("Yaoi" here means male/male, not necessarily graphic sex.)

Psst... don't be scared. Not everyone knows what these things mean...
angst = Shusu's favorite drug... aka dark, depressing
AU = alternate universe, or does not follow canon timeline
canon = the original show's timeline
citrus = general term for sexual situations, usually milder (see lemon and lime)
deathfic = fic with death of a major character
june (joo-nay) = general category for shonen-ai and yaoi (not used widely)
hentai / ecchi = perverted, usually sexual; a pervert
het = heterosexual. yup, there are warnings for these!
lemon = graphic sex!
lime = less graphic sexual situations (term not used here) NCS = non-consensual sex; rape
OOC = out of character
PWP = "Plot? What Plot?"; sex for the hell of it
RL = "real life"; just a Shusu term
shonen-ai = "boy love"; milder romantic situations
songfic = a fic with song lyrics woven in
squick = nasty icky yuck.. . if it squicks a hentai, beware
yaoi = male/male sex; in American sites, refers to general category yuri = female/female sex

My all-time favorite Ronin yaoi story is "Secrets" by Ebonhawk. There are sexier, more angsty, more romantic, and better crafted stories, but Ebonhawk's suberb plot has the tone and pace of a Shakespearian comedy.
